I thrive on finding compelling people and building stories around them. I am a content creator and storyteller with a background in print and broadcast journalism.
Before I was in television, I racked up nearly 10 years of reporting experience in New York City, Asia, Washington D.C., and Chicago. I began as a magazine editor in New York, working my way up from an editorial assistant at People to associate features editor at ELLE. In 2008, I packed my bags, waved goodbye to my air shaft-facing room in the Big Apple, and said hello to Beijing, where I covered the Olympics.
I am currently a content producer based in San Francisco, California. I work for various production companies field producing, coaching talent, writing scripts and shooting video. I also help start up companies with social media and marketing strategy. Before going freelance, I was an general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist for NBC Bay Area and KING-TV.
I graduated with a Master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, and have a Bachelor's degree in communications from UCLA.
I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, but I don't wear cheese on my head.
